Grand Doors

Since ancient times, doors and entrances of any structure or building represents the first perception of whats inside. That was the main reason designers always prefer grand openings and doors for malls and hotels, to give that feeling of grandness. Now this trend slowly moves towards residential homes too, from large landed properties like villas and bungalows to normal terrace homes, to convey that message or perception of grandness, luxury and status.

These large entrances has other benefits as well besides FengShui and Chi factors (for its believers). It allows flow of natural sunlight and fresh air into the house or building while giving a sense of spaciousness while keeping the interiors cool and comfortable.

Due to its sheer size, architects have also taken advantage of its extra space, to supplement in ornaments, decorations and a wide variety of creative designs (as seen in these pictures below).
