X Seed 4000

The epitome of building & construction architectural advances and technology, introducing X-Seed 4000 the largest and tallest building ever envisioned, fully complete with construction designs and plans. The proposed mega-structure boasts a height of 4 KM (13,000 feet) with a base of 6 KM wide, containing 800 functional floors within it, with a projected capacity of 1 million inhabitants! Its planned to be built on sea, nearby Tokyo, Japan, however its final location is yet to be unveiled. This structure dwarfs any world record holding skyscrapers by far! Nearest comparison, the current highest building in the world Burj Khalifa is only standing at a mere 829.8 metres, which means it will be 4 times as high. Thats just massive!

Primary materials used would be steel as its foundation and glass as its “skin” or facade, and according to its design, an estimated amount of 3 million tonnes of special reinforced steel and advanced alloys will be required. As with all futuristic buildings, the X-Seed 4000 comes with only the most advanced self sustaining technologies available to modern civilisation, maintaining its mega-energy demand by drawing power from solar, hydro and aero sources, possibly even from volcanic / thermal sources, taking full advantage of its proposed location, sitting on the Pacific Ring of Fire (nearby Tokyo).

Its also worth to note that in order to effectively facilitate and efficiently support a whole eco-system and livable city within its walls, the X-Seed 4000 features its own internal transportation systems, including MagLev trains. And due to its sheer size and elevation, the structure is designed to be extremely resilient to natural disaster like tsunamis and earthquakes, possibly with smart robots or drones employed to maintain and even repair the building from damage and wear & tear. Various other mechanisms is put in place to regulate the its internal environment like air pressure, oxygen levels, air moisture, water pressure and so on.

Even higher than mount Fuji itself, its estimated that the cost to construct X-Seed 4000 will amount to 1.06 Trillion USD in end of 2015/ 2016 and it could mark the 1st step for humanity to extend living beyond land masses, especially for Japan where its whole country is in major risk of catastrophic disasters like rapid increasing tsunamis and volcanic activities in frequency and magnitude.

Lets hope the X-Seed 4000, truly gets realised! Images below shows the concept art / designs of it.
