Carpet-Inn is wholly owned by Petal World Sdn. Bhd. It was incorporated in 1994 in Kuala Lumpur by its founder, Gauhar Aslam who has vast experience in the rug trade since his youth. Gauhar has been in the family of carpet traders throughout his youth and nurtured by his father all the way from procurement to acquiring rugs deep into Central Asia, Iran and Pakistan.
Deeply rooted in the trade as a young merchant since decades, he has now made Carpet-Inn to be widely recognised by established dealers for three generations.
Carpet-Inn provides an extensive range of beautiful area rugs from around the world besides Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, China, India, Tibet, Turkey and Central Asia. It has widest range of rugs with designs from floral to geometric and traditional to contemporary. Carpet-Inn also designs and custom make hand woven and hand tufted rugs in wool and silk.
At Carpet-Inn, each rug is personally selected and acquired by the founding owner with extreme care for quality, design, colour combination and workmanship, whether hand or machine-made. This has made Carpet-Inn to be known as a purveyor of superior and distinct products of Oriental Hand knotted carpets and rugs from traditional to modern and contemporary designs.
