Steel bar chairs are commonly used to separate bottom and top reinforcement in suspended slabs. Made of low carbon steel wire with plastic coating on the wire tip of each leg, the bar chair is able to withstand loading from people walking over the steel mesh, stacked materials, molded wet concrete and vibration during concrete placement.
